Richmond Auto Parts Technology (RAPT) was initially certified
to the ISO 14001 in August 2002.
This International Environmental Management System standard of
certification requires RAPT to maintain general environmental
regulations as well as charges RAPT as the responsible for any
environmental impact including the consequences that could follow.
Within this certification RAPT focuses on reduction of waste
and environmental impacts which in turn increases positive impacts to
our environment. Through recycling our production by-products and other
business-related wastes. This management system ensures a commitment to
the control of chemicals in the facility, recycling cardboard, metals,
batteries and other waste media as well as the prevention of pollution.
This commitment to relevant environmental legislation and regulations
charges RAPT to ensure that our suppliers comply as well the
regulations and guidelines required by the international environmental
regulation.
